Fire Marshal Training (1/2 day)
The Fire Marshal training is in line with current legislation and covers both theoretical training including a video “Fire Marshal the front line of defence” and practical fire fighting. The following subjects will be covered, and the course culminates with a question paper.
- Know the responsibilities of the Fire Marshal
- Recognise active fire prevention measures
- Know the fire triangle and how fires start
- Know the actions to be taken in the event of a fire
- Know the Fire Marshals role in the event of a fire
- Selection and operation of the appropriate extinguisher
Successful candidates will receive a certificate outlining the objectives of the training day, practical fire fighting and date of issue.
All certification is serial numbered and a 3 year renewal date is implemented on completion of training.
Asbestos Awareness Training Course (1/2 day)
The Asbestos awareness training course is designed to help employers and employees understand the risks associated with working alongside asbestos. This asbestos awareness training gives details on all the legal regulations and allows companies to comply with the COSHH 2002 regulations and the Control of Asbestos 2012 regulations.
Traffic Marshal / Banksman Training (1/2 day)
The Traffic Marshall/Banksman training course ensures that any organisation that has to supervise or assist in the moving, loading and/or unloading of vehicles can meet its legal requirements and reduce the risks that can occur when carrying out even the simplest activities in the workplace.
The Fully Automatic Quick Hitch Training course (1/2 day)
To give delegates an understanding of the fully automatic hitch. Identify the hazards associated with quick hitch devices. Understand how to use quick hitch devices safely in the workplace.
Cable Detection (Cat & Gen) 1 day
The Cable detection will cover the following objectives, Legislation & Safe Systems of Work, Electromagnetic Location Theory & Limitations, Use and Applications, Transmitter & Accessories, Sonde Practical Content; Use of Locators, Use of Transmitters, Depth Estimation, Use of Accessories.
Abrasive Wheel Awareness (1/2 day)
Abrasive wheel awareness training is in line with current legislation (Provision of Work Equipment Regulations 1998). The course is half day duration and covers the composition, types, mounting and safe use of abrasive wheels. A short video is used to reconfirm the teaching points before operatives move onto practically mounting the wheel.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate outlining the objectives of the training day, practical fire fighting and date of issue. All certification is serial numbered and a 3 year renewal date is implemented on completion of training.
